The popular social media platform Instagram has introduced a new feature to its users. Now it will be possible to share 20 photos and videos in a single post.
Previously, users could share up to 10 items in a single Instagram post. This limitation was forcing users with lots of content to create new posts. However, with the latest update, Instagram has doubled this number, increasing it to 20.

This multi-sharing feature, also known as “Carousel” or “Photo Dump,” was first introduced in 2017. Over time, Instagram has added new functions like adding songs to carousels and creating collaborative posts.
This update indicates that Instagram is following in the footsteps of its rival, TikTok. TikTok already allows its users to share 35 photos in a single post.
According to The Verge, Instagram is gradually rolling out this new feature to users. However, it might take some time to reach all accounts.
This feature will be particularly useful for users who like sharing their stories in detail. This development demonstrates that photo sharing still holds a significant place on social media platforms.
