Vivo has introduced its new V40 series smartphones. The series, consisting of the V40 and V40 Pro models, promises top-tier features to users.
Both models are equipped with a 6.78-inch, 1.5K resolution AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screens stand out with a brightness level reaching up to 4500 nits. On the front, there is a 50MP resolution, auto-focus selfie camera.
The V40 model features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the V40 Pro model prefers MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Both phones come with Funtouch OS 14 interface based on Android 14 and will receive 2 major Android updates and security patches for 3 years.
In terms of camera capabilities, the V40 comes with a 50MP main camera and 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with OIS support, while the V40 Pro offers a more advanced system. The Pro model is equipped with a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle and a 50MP 2x telephoto portrait camera. ZEISS optics are used in both models.

In terms of design, the V40 is offered in Titanium Gray, Lotus Purple, and Ganges Blue color options, while the V40 Pro is only available in Titanium Gray and Ganges Blue. Both models have a 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support and have an IP68 water and dust resistance certificate.
In terms of storage and RAM options, the V40 offers 128GB, 256GB or 512GB of storage with 8GB or 12GB RAM. The V40 Pro comes with either 256GB or 512GB storage options with 8GB or 12GB RAM.
Connection features include support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 (V40) / 5.3 (V40 Pro) and various navigation systems. Both models are equipped with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.
